Ground-up construction
New commercial buildings wired from the slab through to finish. We come on with the general contractor early, run the rough-in alongside the other trades, and stay through trim and close-out.
The work
What it covers
On a ground-up job the electrical scope is set long before anyone pulls wire. Sleeves and conduit have to be right before the slab is poured, and the gear has to be ordered early enough to arrive when the building is ready for it.
- Temporary power for the site while the building goes up
- Underground conduit and slab rough-in before the pour
- Service entrance, gear and distribution
- Branch rough-in through framing, alongside the other trades
- Trim, fixtures, devices and final connections
- Testing, inspection and close-out documents
